Menai Bridge...

Having originally planned to go on a longer cruise with a 3 day weekend booked, we stupidly took notice of the weather forecasts and limited itself to a Friday lunch stop at Menai Bridge.  Still, we did help Ian Crag on Silver Apple out!

Notes

Having elected to take the Friday in order to circumnavigate the globe, we were happy to forego the terrible weather forecast in order to help out our friend Ian, on Silver Apple.  Glen went out and towed Silver Apple back to shore on the dinghy (like steering a saucer), and we got Ian's outboard sorted out.

A quick trip back to the mooring for Silver Apple and we set sail for Menai Bridge.

Later that day, we took Genesis for a short hop for lunch at the Victoria Hotel in Menai Bridge.

Sausage, Egg, Chips and Beans are now £4.20 !  (Credit Crunch - £1.20 in 1987!)

Llew had this while we dined in style on the Lasagne.

No particular events took place on the voyage:

Lesson Learnt

Towing a small (23ft) yacht with a dinghy is *very* difficult, even in ridiculously calm conditions.
