We left Beaumaris in fine weather with a full dinghy. Very sunny and warm - no wind to speak of so we motored a fair bit. Shelter was on the southern side of the island- very good anchoring here - no wind, warm and sunny: perfect.
Michelin had provided a variety of smelly cheeses and sausage meat so we got stuck into these with some decent white wine from Gavin.
We had a couple of visitors in the form of Guy on the yacht club dory who came to see us. Shortly after Rob Roberts came over in the other club tender to say hello. Then we heard some kafuffle on the VHF and my pager went off to indicate I had missed a shout... oh well. We had been invited over to Peter's that evening for tea, so we pulled the anchor up at 1740 and steamed back to Beaumaris. We made it back to our mooring with just enough time to get to Peter's for tea.
